Did you know you can install a wireless card into a Cisco ISR router to get Hi-Speed wireless WAN connectivity?
This is a great WAN backup solution and it is independent of wireline infrastructure. You can also use it as a very cost-effective primary connection for rapid deployments, kiosks, construction sites, ATM and telemetry applications.
The technology uses a 3G HWIC card installed in your existing Cisco router that connects to your wireless carrier of choice (AT&T, Sprint or Verizon). Use it as a primary or backup internet connection.
Contact The Northstar Group for more information on data rates, router models and IOS requirements.
